PhD student Victoria Priola has been awarded the Archaeological Institute of America's 2023 Archaeology of Portugal Fellowship.

Graduate student Corinne Watts successfully passed her comprehensive exam during this semester and has now moved to ABD status in the doctoral program.

Associate Professor Theodore Powers recently had an article published in the Journal of Contemporary African Studies, entitled "On power and policy in post-colonial Africa: an introduction."
