Graduate student Corinne Watts successfully passed her comprehensive exam during this semester and has now moved to ABD status in the doctoral program. Corinne's PhD prospectus was titled “The Social & Economic Use of Groundstone Tools during the Neolithic and Chalcolithic in the Southern Iberian Meseta."

Corrine is also the recipient of a T. Anne Cleary International Dissertation Research Fellowship from the UI Graduate College to support her summer research.
