Doctoral candidate Andrés Restrepo-Sánchez recently participated in the XVIII Congress of Anthropology in Colombia, held at the University of Popayán. During the event, Andrés presented two papers that shared preliminary findings from his fieldwork with health providers and families in Medellín, Colombia. His research focuses on their experiences of pregnancy and childbirth in contexts marked by violence.
