Brittany Anderson is a PhD candidate in cultural anthropology, jointly advised by Dr. Elana Buch and Dr. Ted Powers. Brittany received her BA in Anthropology and Biology from Luther College in 2016 and her MA in Anthropology from the University of Iowa in 2018. She is currently working on her dissertation on housekeeping and laundry staff in Continuing Care Retirement Communities in the Midwest United States. Her research is focused on the relationships between materiality, labor, and care work.
